After 10 days of deliberations, US President Biden had ordered the Pentagon to conduct airstrikes on two targets inside Syria Feb. 26 but received urgent warning from an aide about 30 minutes before the bombs were scheduled to hit the target.

It was reported that a woman and some children were in the courtyard at one of the sites. With the F-15Es in flight to the targets, Joe Biden scratched the second target but ordered the strike on the first objective to proceed. Continue reading>>
