A Cincinnati woman has been charged with murder and felonious assault after she allegedly killed her teenage son and hid his body in the bedroom for 2 months.
The body of 19-year-old Dominic Allen was found early December 2020 in the Cincinnati residence of his mom Kenya Stallworth, 39, and her husband, Robert Robb, 35.
Allen died in that bedroom more than two months prior, on Sept. 26, 2020, court documents say. He was initially reported as missing.
Authorities said the couple hid the body by covering it with clothes and sealing off the door.
Stallworth was indicted on homicide on Tuesday, after DNA test verified the decomposed remains belonged to her son, according to FOX 19 NOW.
Stallworth and her husband Robert Robb have been in custody since December on charges of felony abuse of a corpse and tampering with proof. Robb is not Dominic’s father.
Marcus Allen, Dominic’s father, told FOX 19 NOW there have been indicators that his son had been tortured.
“The first thing that came to my mind was, ‘What was going through your head when you all did whatever you all did?,’” Allen reportedly said.
Later, Marcus relayed a powerful message for those accused in his son’s death.
“You all didn’t just take away my child. You took away the gift that God gave me,” the devastated father continued. “You took away my daughter’s finest buddy. You took away the nephew of all of my sisters and brothers. You all took him away from the entire individuals who beloved him… and for what?
“He loved helping everybody. He was a wonderful child. He was a happy child. (…) I am proud to be his father.”
Stallworth has been at the Hamilton County Justice Center on a $100,000 bond since her arrest, the report said. She has a plea hearing on April 28.
