A Russian truck driver was brutally raped with a metal pipe before being beaten to death after he was wrongly accused of being a paedophile, new details have emerged.

Dmitry Chikvarkin was attacked after a 10-year-old girl “joked” that she and a three-year-old had been assaulted.

The 48-year-old father of a six-year-old girl, who ran his own trucking business died from horrific head injuries after the brutal attack in Verkhnyaya Pyshma, in Russia’s Sverdlovsk region.

Chikvarkin’s head injuries inflicted with the same metal pipe used to rape him were so severe that the priest at his funeral refused to allow relatives to see his face in the coffin, the report said.

Two women and two men who were previously on the run have now been arrested and charged, Daily star reported.

Mother Valeria Dunaeva, 25, is accused of causing grievous bodily harm resulting in death after leading the attacks, the report said.

Sergey Chabin, 34, and Mikhail Ivanov, 29, face the same charge including sexual assault on the man they falsely branded a paedo.

Alina Mikhailova, 29, the 10-year-old’s mum, is accused of “threatening murder”.

Dunaeva, Chabin, and Ivanov face up to 15 years in jail, while Mikhailova faces a lesser sentence if found guilty of her charges.

The family of Chikvarkin who was a former police driver has said the charges are not serious enough as they call for them to be upgraded to murder charge.

“We disagree with this decision and have filed a motion [for] murder charges,” said Dmitry Zhikin, the lawyer for the victim’s family.

The women showed “great cruelty and sadistic imagination” when Chikvarkin was killed in a drunken frenzy, according to a report citing law enforcement officers.

Police said the brutal attack happened after the girl claimed she and her younger friend had been “touched below the waist”, but it had been a “lie”. Police added that the children had been “joking”, with fatal consequences.

Investigation found that the truck driver had been asked to drive the children to a woman carer. Sadly, his good deed led to the false accusation and death.

A friend said: “He was always ready to help, and this was his mistake.”

Chikvarkin was described as a “loving father” by his family and as “brave and fearless” by his former colleagues.
