Voters flee polling units as Boko Haram strikes in Borno – Daily Post dailypostngr.com
The voting process was disrupted in Goza town in Goza Local Government Area of Borno State on Saturday, February 25, after Boko Haram terrorists stormed the area. The insurgents struck while voters were participating in the presidential and parliamentary elections. Daily Trust reported that the Emir of Goza, Mohammed Shehu Timta, said five persons were injured. Timta said; Boko Haram insurgents launched an attack into the heart of the town, shooting sporadically.
