‘The dream is dead.’ Maple Leafs lose another heartbreaker — and fans aren’t taking it well

The Toronto Maple Leafs were eliminated from the Stanley Cup playoffs after they failed to complete what could have been monumental comeback in the second round of the post-season on Friday.
The Leafs lost 3-2 in overtime to the Florida Panthers at Scotiabank Arena in Game 5, ending Toronto’s season. The Panthers will move on to play the Carolina Hurricanes while the Leafs head home once again disappointed.
